A Teacher Who Doesn't Like Themes??!
Well, the very first day after I set up my blog, something blog-worthy actually occurs at work! If you are a teacher (and you probably are if you're reading this) then you probably have some sort of theme going on in your room. I do monsters myself. Anyway, I spend all my day on the lower primary hallway, and we do big time themes there! I am lucky to be working beside such creative ladies btw! They inspire me daily! Getting back to my story- I was talking with a kinder teacher, and she confesses to me that she can't do themes! She has a fear of committing to one certain theme! This is the only teacher I have ever known to not choose a decorating idea and go nuts with it! Lol! Anyway, this teacher has managed to create a lovely and inviting learning environment by mixing up different patterns! She has used stripes, polka-dots, and chevron to make a really great room! It was so nice that I never even noticed she hadn't committed to a "theme" until she told me! After designing my "MONSTER" binder cover and materials, I was inspired to work on a binder cover for my friend who does not want to commit to some obvious theme for her room. I am working on something I think she will like, and when I finish, I will post it here for you to get as well! Thanks for reading and make it a great day!
